What's a .308 baer worth?

Just wondering if anyone out there has a price range for a .308 baer. A friend of mine has one. It's on a remington 700 action and the stock is a basic synthetic one. Let me know. Thanks, J

  I haven't seen many of these come up for sale recently so I don't know what the market value would be currently. The best way would be to call Bruce and ask what a new one would cost and discount the used one based on condition and the barrel throat, of course.

  The .308 Baer was developed for 1000 yd bench rest shooting. Not a lot of folks are interested in a round with this much recoil AT ANY PRICE unless it is on a bench rest rifle weighing 30+ lbs.
  
  You have asked for the price range of a custom made rifle. But, you didn't give us any photos or a list of the SPECIFICATIONS. You didn't even tell us what accessories (scope, mount, dies, etc) come with it. I don't see how we can help your friend without detailed information.
