1911' Slide and barrel ID

Hi,
a quick ID of the unmarked slide and barrel on the photos.
Barrel is stamped MP at the barrel lug.

    Most likely Clone Caspian /essex/ranger/ Fusion/ etc etc with out name or marks on slide it could be HOME MADE MP does not show up on any of my list.

    Compared to the Norinco NP 29, I find that the slides looks identical. Seller claims it's an unmarked STI bought at Brownells in 1997.
    Not that its a big deal, I just like to know what I am shooting[8D]
