Is the trigger on this model adjustable??
Is this just an economy model of the model 70??
Do they share parts??
Any known faults with this model??

  I came across one of these in a local gun shor.I doubt I'll buy it cause the owner is a bit of a poo head but it raised the question,what are the differences between the 670 and the 70???? I'm sure a cheaper stock is one ,but what else????? I really would like the gun,but the owner kinda makes me hesitate

  I'll start the list and the other members can add as we go along:
  
  - Less expensive wood.
  
  - 2-position safety (not 3)
  
  - Simple trigger guard only, no magazine cover.
  
  - Obviously then, internal box magazine only.
  
  - Push feed, no control round feed.

  The finish on the one I owned years ago was different also. It was kind of a sandblasted/mat type. Descent enough rifle, was their economy model in the 60's/70's time frame.
  
  Doubt if their super rare, or that much of a collectors piece nowadays. If this guy is being a butthole about it, let him keep it. Times are tough nowadays, maybe he hasn't figured that out yet. It's a buyers market now, cash is king.
