I have a high standard plinker that I have to put a sight (front)
on.I now have a sight but need to know how to press fit the sight.
With out screwing it up.

  I believe the "Plinker" was what the renamed the Sport King, toward the end of production in the 70's.
  
  If the original front sight came out, your going to have to either Epoxy or Silver Solder in the replacement, if you have any hope at all of it holding. Otherwise the impact of the slide as it comes back into battery and hits the barrel, will pop it out in no time.

  thanks for that site Rufe lot of info there.looks like I'm not the only one that needed a front sight.
