Sile Inc. New York over and under .410
says Investarm made in Italy. Has some factory engraving, but looks pretty cheap. Do you have any experience with this shotgun or manufacturer?

In the days before China began flooding the firearms market in the 1980s, there was Investarms. Investarms is an Italian firearms maker who specialize in low cost firearms, especially shotguns, all good quality guns but there is no collector interest at all. Investarms did make some higher grade guns but few of these were ever imported into the USA. SILE, their distributor, who chose to market Investarms lower priced offerings rather than their higher end items. 0 -
Always wanted one reading the big annual gun rags as an inexpensive O/U (I ended up with a Fausti....) .
IIRC, there were 2 versions of the 410 - the "normal one" and the second one was able to be opened all the way basically folding the gun in half...0 -
Appreciate the info.
It is the model that folds nearly in half. It even has a receiving slot in the stock for the trigger guard as it folds.
This will make a good shooter for now and eventually be a first shotgun for my grandson.
