Bert, in a previous thread about the Winchester threaded barrel, would you mind telling what the give away is to it being non factory?
Is a real one marked in some manner?

I saw one of these for sale some time ago. It was a game that I believe Winchester made. if im not mistaken the gun auctioned for huge money. Let me put on my thinking cap.

Hello ATF,

This is not the only Winchester Wingo shotgun currently for sale; do an internet search. The price on this one is relatively high, and has already previously been reduced. I would really be surprised if it went for anywhere near what is being asked.

ATF there was a prvious post here about the game these guns were designed for, on experts I think. It never went anywhere so few were made by USRAC. They have no used now, except as collectables, and as stated above this one is creatively priced.

FYI....here's a reply from the seller on a few questions I asked;

"it is not able to fire. The wire you see sticking out of the forend tube apparently connects to the gallery electronics. I have found a couple of collectors that have ammo, but this will never be a "shooter".

Still a neat "curiosity" I think.
