Colt Magnum Carry .357

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much my gun is worth? It's a 1st Edition Colt magnum Carry .357, (I can tell because it is printed on the barrel). I know they only made 300 total and and it is all original including the grip. I bought it brand new and only fired it a couple of times. It is in excellent shape. The only thing is I don't have the original box, it was lost during a move.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    one just sold on the auction side for $1300+ with the box and case.
    there's one currenlty listed for $4995.([:0]) but that's not a true value.
    only 300 of 1st editions and the whole production was only 1 year, so they are desireable guns for Colt collectors.
    unfortunately, to get top dollar you would need the original box and paperwork.
    but, you can probably do OK selling it to guys like me that "collect" colts but shoot 'em all. no safe queens!
