Oshkosh (Davenport) 10 Ga ShotGun Stock Needed

I am in great need of a stock for a Oshkosh 10 Gauge Field Gun. This shotgun was manufactured by WH Davenport and stamped Oshkosh Arms Co and is very old. Patent dates on barrel read Oct 2 1894 - Aug 11 1896 Model 1895 10 Gauge Hammer Gun. I could use some historical info as well. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks.

    A little update to your information. There was no Oshkosh Gun Company. That is a "Trade Brand Name" shotgun. A "Trade Brand Name" shotgun is one made by a major maker for a wholesaler or retailer, usually on contract and who chose the name to go on the gun. I have six listings for guns with some form of the name Oshkosh and just about as many makers.
    All were made for and sold by the Frank Percy Company of Oshkosh,WI. The only one with the word Field in the name is the Oshkosh Ejector Field Gun and was made by the W.H. Davenport Arms Company. As to a replacement stock, I have only one thing to say Good Luck!. Davenport was in business from about 1878 to 1910. Any replacement parts are going to be very difficult to find. You can haunt the various parts auctions and search for a stock maker that might be able to whittle out one for you. Need to know any more?

    Kisa, listen to Ned, there is/was no Oshkosh gun company. Your best hope will be to find another gun for parts.

    I also have an Oshkosh Field Gun, Model 1895 in poor shape. I always thought that it was made my Davenport from the lever on the right side. Finally ran across your posts, and now the mystery is solved.
    Mine too has a cracked stock and foreend, but it is not a candidate for any kind of restoring. Thanks!
