Norinco 7.62x39 Ammo
A good friend of mine traded me a couple of 1200 rd cases of Norinco 7.62 x39 ammo one case is two spam cans the other is 20 rd silver boxes marked steel case and steel core. non corrosive primer. What does this stuff sell for a case now. Thank you

Check out the on-line auctions, for price guidance. It would depend if it's the early, steel core, military stuff on strippers. These would definitely bring more money, then the later plain lead core ammo packed in 20 round boxes. The gunshop commandoes love that, (steel cored), stuff, specially if it's in the original sealed spam cans. 0 -

Thats the problem with this stuff, you really don't know what it is unless you can read the Chinese markings on the can, or wooden crate, if they haven't been painted over? IMHO at the price it sold for, it wasn't the actual early steel cored ammo. No matter what the guy selling was trying to make you believe.
When I bought a couple cases years ago, didn't know what it was, until I opened the can. The steel cored 7.62 X 39, is early dated, all copper washed, steel case ammo, on strippers wrapped in paper.0 -
This is not exactly what you asked but SOG has Russian Barnaul, new, non corrosive, for $104.75/500 rd case.
They have Yugo for $441.00/1260 rd case. Tom0
