Stag left-hand upper

I'm new here, but not to Gunbroker.I hope I'm doing this right.
I am left-handed and own 2 AR type rifles.I want to build a third and am considering a Stagarms 3HL left-hand upper on my Stag lower assembly.Any thoughts on this? I've generally avoided lefty guns, but it just might be time to try one.

  There's no debate about the high quality of Stag products.
  
  But, I see the big advantage of a lefty AR in the ambi safety & mag release of the complete lefty rifle. My choice would be to get a complete new lefty & sell the 2 righties. When you have the same type guns with different features, you tend to get brain freeze when under stress.
  
  But, it's your gun & you need to get what you are comfortable with.

  Thanks Neal,that's kind of what I'm thinking. I don't want to sell the other two rifles though. I can set up my lower with ambi controls and have a true lefty if I opt for the 3HL upper.I'm not a combat shooter, so any brain-freeze I experience will hopefully not get me killed. I'm more concerned with reliability and function of the left-handed AR. I know Stag makes good stuff,but there's not much information out about their left hand rifles. I agree that I should stick with what I know, but I've got the urge for a lefty, and my wife says I can have one![:D]

  I bought 5 Stag Arms lowers about 3 years ago. This year I have completed them with uppers (2 Stag) in different cals. They make a very good product. Although I'm not a lefty, I think that item would be just as good as their RH models.

  Stag makes a very good product however just to let you DPMS also makes a lefty upper. I have one with a 24" stainless Lothar Walther barrel and a Badger stabilizer hand guards its a dream to shoot.

  Have sold many Stags and the left hand is great. The number 6 which is the heavy barrel gets 1/2 groups at 100 yard and have a customer that gets 3/4 inch groups at 200 yards. The spray and pray of the others is o.k. but one shot one kill works great on p dogs.

  Left handed DPMS upper on Colt match lower.

  Since Iam accustomed to the right handed controls on most ARs, I just built one that ejects to the left but has the conventional righty controls.
