FFL Sale of Lever Rifle to California ?

Any problems with an FFL sending a lever action Browning rifle into California for a sale here on GB ? I know handguns have to go through leaps and bounds but how about rifles ?

    Not as long as you get the Calif ffl dealers Calif DOJ number and get the DOJ ok letter.

    Doesn't matter whether it is a long gun or handgun you still have to register with Calif. Dept. of Justice to be able to ship a gun to a FFL out there. Then you have to call DOJ amd get permission to ship a particular firearm to a Calif. FFL dealer. Other than that BS no problem.

    Thank you for shipping guns to California. Too many don't and that only plays into the hands of the anti-gunners.

    If by leaps & bounds you mean that even very average modern Smiths and Rugers and such have to be "CA OK" - then no, sending a lever rifle doesn't have that issue. But if you are an FFL you have to use the CA CFLC computer system for rifles just as you would CA OK handguns.

    Takes about 5 minutes, and again - thanks for shipping to CA.
