BERT / Winchester pre 64 Model 70 ?

Well Im not Bert, but hopefully you find a guy like me to by it. I bought a pre 64 270 that could very well be that ones twin, same scope and everything, spent 1200. Way more than it is probably worth but I wanted it so I bought it, Nice gun[:D]

I really do not know what the market value of that rifle is... Model 70s are my weakest knowledge area, and I very seldom pay much attention to what they sell for. 0 -
Cartod is the man for this job and he is away until Thursday. Kick it back to the top then, repost a thread with his name or drop him an e-mail. He is mosest, but knows the 70s pretty well.

Based on serial number it is mid-late 1952 issue. Nice condition the newer Leupold should command a lil on the price. $1200-1500 is probably fair. Have seen them listed for higher than that.
My 1952 issue sports an original 4x Pioneer in Adjusto mounts and original Leupold scope covers..
