NFA items

Here in Washington State we are told NFA items are illegal. Yet whenever I see somebodies list, the last list was a business that sells NFA items, Washington State is always on their list. A different business told me that the Machine Gunner's Bible says Washington State is listed as being NFA legal. Is there a loop hole or just business' not doing their homework. The last business list I saw was earier this week.

    Find out for yourself. Check State Laws & Published Ordnances - Firearms (ATF P5300-5), downloadable from the ATF website.

    Well you can do 4 things.

    Ask like you did.

    Search the web.

    Read the ATF site at, http://www.atf.gov/firearms/statelaws/

    Read WA RCW's, which you should do if you plan on owning firearms in WA, http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9.41

    In WA some NFA is legal and some is not.
    Legal, AOW, DD, Silencers (but there is a catch about not being able to use them, that is another topic)

    Illegal, MG, SBR, SBS
