Ruger 96/22 front sight question

I need a new front blade for a 96/22 lever action Ruger. Will the 10/22 front sight work? Kinda of want to know before I order. Any help would be apprieated. Dang I can't spell. I guess that is it. Do I just drift the old one out and put the new one in.
