H. COCK & MUZZY
I have a friend at work who recently inherited an old flintlock and was wondering if anyone has heard of this manufacturer? I have searched current and sold items as well as searched the forum and found nothing. I am not looking for a value, just any information.
I currently, do not have pictures, but my buddy will take some and perhaps post them at a later time.

photos would help immensely, please keep in mind that most original American made Flintlocks were made by individual craftsmen of those times few were mass produced, if any !!0 -
The manufacturer is the topic title, "H. Cock & Muzzy". I appreciate the response, and am just trying to find out any information on this possible manufacturer. 0 -
I believe that Proof of Origin is needed at this juncture...Satterlee and Gluckman the Authors of 'American Gun Makers' don't show H.COCK & MUZZY listed...and I hav'nt found any American Makers with that name in My Data Base....Is there any proof mark on or under the rear of the barrel...? 0 -
