So one never fired just put in safe. What would it be worth.
Did not find any in 30-06 on the auction side to get an Idea.

Hello this is just my opinion . the + going for this rifle is the 30-06 is a popular cartridge . - is it is not rare - is is not of a vintage to be contemporary with the model of the rifle - a rimmed cartridge works much better in a falling block rifle then a rimless cartridge. I suggest you look to see what other Browning 1855 are going for in other cartridges and go from there. 0 -
i have a browning B-78 in 30-06 with 26 inch octegon barrel and i have been offered 800.00 for it,and it,s still in my gun room. i think it,s worth more. it has a 6x leupold on it. eastbank. 0 -
CHECK THE AUCTION SIDE FOR ANY 1885 BROWNING IN SIMILAR COND., THE CAL. WILL NOT MAKE MUCH DIFFERENCE 0
