ERMA,KGP-69 ?
Folks, I have a cousin that wants a Luger / erma KGP-69 , vis photos it is very nice ,95%+ ,I know absolutely O about these guns save a real bring home WWII 9mm Luger I played with as a kid, My question being- what should I look far vis the erma .22lr.... any good,bad points? thanks in advance as you fellows have saved many hard learned lessons in the past. very best[:)]

Erma has been out of business since the 90's. Even when they were manufacturing the .22 Luger replicas from the 60's to the 90's?, they were problematical. I've owned 2 of the earlier production variations, from the 60's, they are mostly made out of potmetal/zink diecastings. With only critical parts such as the breechblock and barrel liner, etc made out of steel.
IMHO if he wants a Luger replica in .22 Cal, he would be better off with the one sold by Stoeger. It seemed to me, to order of magnitudes more durable then the one made by Erma.0 -
