Marlin 30-30 takedown
I have a 1893 Marlin Takedown, 30-30 cal. after firing one or two rounds the shell casings split and are hard to eject, the casing appears to be swelling by about .013 thousandths at the rear portion, any Ideas??

Two things come to mine They may #1 be older cartridges that the cases have gotten brittle. or #2 they may be reloads. that are loaded too hot. My suggestion is to buy some NEW /FRESH ammo from a store that has large turnover in 30-30 ammo. If this does not cure the problem then it is time for a gunsmith to do a chamber cast and test for headspace. 0
