17 Fireball to 20 Vartag Question

Can I neck up 17 Fireball brass and make 20 Vartag brass more easily than necking down 221 Fireball brass? Eapecially since the shoulder angle is already 30 degrees.

  I am without some of my resources here so I will post the chart that compares the 17 Rem. Fireball to the 17 Mach IV. The Mach IV is simply the 221 Fireball necked down.
  
  
  
  All this indicates is that there are small differences in diameters and one length that will be important. Be sure to check several practice cases in the chamber for both fit AND headspace. Go slow with the sizing and be sure to use a good lubricant. Anneal if necessary but it shouldn' be. Fireforming will fix the small variances but headspace at these pressures in such a small case is paramount to get right.
