Magazine Conversion for Yugo 308

Ok Experts, here is one for you. I know there are modifications that can be made to M14 and 308 Galil Magazines so they will work in a Mitchell 308 AK or RPK.javascript:insertsmilie('[^]')

Are any of you willing to share with me exactly how you make the modifications? If not by Posting, at least an email. My rifle and present hi-cap mags are legal for me, but need replacement.

    At least some jurisdictions with "high cap" (ie normal capacity magazine) bans have a legal provision permitting REPAIR of broken/malfunctioning high caps legally.

    If the repair involves replacing a broken/defective mag body with a brand new one, then so be it.

    In your case, I'd go check the relevant law for your jurisdiction.

    So long as you can document that you are repairing a broken or worn out mag, you may be able to legally import the necessary parts.

    Finding a retailer that a. has them, and b. is willing to send them to your jurisdiction (ie even if legal to do so) may pose other problems, but those can be addressed separately.
