Paper shotgun shells

I have around 1,200 win super target 12ga shotgun hulls, Can I reload them. They once fired and have been in dry place . The inside of the hull looks good. I also have about 1,200 win super speed & universal 12ga hulls. That I would like to sell.

    I have a question on value of paper shotgun shells, I have approximatley 150ish paper shells, no boxes, that include Winchester Super X, old army paper dummys, some european brands ive never heard of, browning, etc etc. lots of shells. Some of them are in PERFECT condition, some are in poor. What are paper shells ACTUALLY worth? i took them to the last gun show i was at and could not get $5 for 10? any ideas?

    paper shells are not really collectable. only if you have a full box and the box itself is perfect. i just sold 2 nice whole boxes of winchester paper shells for 8 bucks a piece. which would leave 13 federals at about $2, sorry

    Apart from the sentimental value of belonging to your grandfather (which is worth something, I think), the shells themselves aren't going to be worth much more than modern plastic hull shotgun shells (ie maybe $.25 each).

    A collector *might* give you a *LITTLE* more for them to finish up another partial box or to use in a display piece, but not much more, and for only a few bucks its not going to be worth your time looking for such a collector or shipping these shells anywhere.

    I have a collection of paper shells from my Grandfather also. So I have noticed them at many Gunshows in my area from $2 to $4 each.
    Mine remind me of Him and are worth much more.

    Yes, I forgot that smell. It's Carnuba wax.

    Look over on the auction side or even flea bay. The empty shell boxs are collectable. If you don`t find one like it,keep watching the auctions.One will come up and you will then find what its worth.

    I have an empty Redhead box and got offered $100 for it.

    Just a note, that Federal still loads the Federal Champion Target in paper shells. Not easy to find, but some hardcore Trap and skeet shooters swear by them and will use nothing else.Depending on the age of these they will not be worth much. I would blast a few clay birds in memory of your Grandfather.
