Weatherby Vanguard .270 serial number info

I am trying to see what info I can gain from my SN on my Vanguard .270 wcf. The serial number is V14420.
It is made in Japan and looks like current deluxe model but i know it dates at least back to 1980-82 when i put it up last. My blue book shed no light on this at all. Thanks for any help i can get here.
