Steyr-Hahn 9mm pistol

Where can I purchase 8 round stripper clips for Steyer-Hahn pistol? Also, it requires special Steyer 9mm ammo. Where is best place to purchase?

    Steven,
    Usually there are Steyr Hahn strippers on GB. I did not see any listed
    at this time. When I owned three Steyr Hahn pistols, I purchased
    Fiochi ammo. Mine were in the original chambering. If yours is
    stamped *08* it has been converted to P08 ammo. They are fun to shoot
    but the ammo is fairly expensive. Fiochi apparently loads their rounds
    hotter than one may expect.Nothing like having hot expended casings
    coming down the back of your shirt. Make sure your pistol is safe.

    It's very difficult to get the original S-H stripper clips. The last ammo actually manufactured for the S-H on strippers, dates to W W II.

    Similar strippers that can be used for the S-H, is Czech submachine gun ammo. The Czech sub guns magazines were loaded from 8 round stripper clips. These clips were virtually the same as those used by the Steyr-Hahn. This ammo is around in quantity. It is found packed in 16 round white boxes, on two clips. Usually the ammo is 30 Mauser sometimes you will find it as 9mm. The Czechs used both calibers for their sub guns. As the rim and base dimensions for the 9mm S-H cartridge is similar to both the 30 Mauser and 9mm, you will have no problem loading your pistol using the Czech clips.

    I believe it would be listed under ammo. There's 16 rounds in a rectangular off-white box held closed with a paper sticker. Czech writing is on the sticker.
