Scope Mounting Help

Hi everyone. I am new to long guns and need some help mounting a scope. I recently purchased a Remington 700 sps tactical in .223 caliber for varmint / target shooting. After much research, keeping my budget in mind, I ordered a Nikon, 4-16x42mm SP scope for the gun. Now for my question, what do I need to purchase to mount the scope on the gun?

    I suggest getting the Burris Signature rings for beginners because they take some of the trauma out of tightening the rings on the scope.

    Buy the base which matches your rifle model.

    Buy the Burris Signature rings that will work with your base.

    Work carefully and thoroughly.

    Degrease the parts before assembly.

    Use the proper tool to assemble the parts.

    Bore sight your rifle in a solid set up and it will take just a few minutes with no problems.
