.219 Zipper Improved

I have recently acquired a Martini Cadet in .219 Zipper Improved and am having trouble locationd loading data. Anyone have any experience with this one? Thanks

    please note that the martini cadet is no match for 'hot' loads with this type cartridge. If it were mine I'd use standard .219 loading data. The Cadety action uses a 3/4" barrel thread and just doesn't have enought 'meat' over the chamber.

    Yes, on the personal advice of Ackley I built two on Martini actions. One on the Australian BSA Cadet and the other on the larger 577-450 action.
    The chamber of the Cadet Martini bulged slightly .
    In his first letter 2/28/63 he said the Cadet works well for the std or improved .219 Zipper.
    The second of 4/15/64 recommends 36.5 gr 4320 with 50 gr bullet and 33 gr 4064 with 55 gr bullet. It was probably one of these that bulged my chamber.
    He said the same loads can be used for the Lovell imp,K-Improved or Ackley Imp Zipper.
    After complaining to him in 1968, he backtracked and said the barrel should be set back and rechambered for the std Zipper because the Cadet Martini will almost always swell a chamber if anything like maximum loads are used. His handbook of 62-63 gives a number of loads for it. I wouldn't trust any of them in the Cadet.
    Incidentally, Winchester copied all the dimensions but thinned and reduced the rim to work in their Model 70 action having an 06 sized boltface.
    They named it the .225 Winchester.
    If you compare the above loads with today's Hodgdon loads for the 225 Win, which have been pressure tested,it's clear Ackley's loads are much too heavy.
