ID This vitage scope mount.
I would like to ID and possibly replace the scope that was on this gun. How hard is it going to be to find? All help much appreciated.

Cartod this site has info on three authorities on old scopes including Stroebel who lives about 30 miles south of me. I think you should start with them. You need to know what was built at the time the aftermarket mounts were put on this rifle, and the machining for the mounts is the only clue you really have. Best of Luck!
I take it that front iron sight was a windage adjustable blade for use with the tang sight? It would be pretty cool to replace that too, and I will bet that is doable.0 -
