Converting 9mm Uzi Pistol to 45 ACP
I would like to convert my 9mm UZI pistol to 45 ACP. Any Ideas as to where the find the parts????

Try Vector Arms. They are the most recent builder of UZI's. As I recall, the 45acp uzi mag is only 13 rounds. Not really worth it IMHO. 0 -
Well for a basic conversion you will need a bolt, barrel and mag. When you see these kits they are usually in the $500 range.
If you are going to use the stock grip you will need to use the IMI mags that came in 10rd and 16rd. Not sure the price on the 10rd but I believe they are in the $50 range when you can find them and the 16rd mag easily sell for over $125 all day long [xx(] If someone wanted to get rich they would tool up and make some quality aftermarket IMI style .45 mags.
You other option is to use a Grease Gun gip and 30 rd GG mags. Vector sells these for the full size and I am not sure if the pistol is the same. Vector is now back in the Uzi business after a short break. You might need to call them and see what they have in stock and pricing.0 -

go the cheaper way and go with (vector)yes there back open for business,give them a call, i believe batf closed them for some issue's...0
