Old Gun, Remington Model 24

I need this part for a Remington Model 24 in .22 Short. Can you help me ID the name of it? I believe it is a cartridge guide as it is on top of the bolt, and it feeds from the top and ejects out the bottom. A neighbor bought 2 of these rifles over for cleaning and repair and this is all I have left to replace to get these out the door.

I tried to fabricate one, but my skills and tools are very limited.
Look at the photo below to help me identify, then I can start my search over in want ads. Thanks in advance.

    On an old parts list it is a Cartridge Carrier. The cartridge guide is a different part. Numrich catalogs it but does not have any in stock. You might contact Jack First. Be sure to specify .22 Short, the long rifle part is different.

    Thanks for your response. Called Jack First and they were out of stock as well. I may have wasted my money, but I ordered on for a .22long. Going to see if I can fit it for the .22 short.
