Saw conversion kit to 45 long vs black powder. Any advise?

For the prices I have seen on them you could just buy a revolver.

Some people think there is an advantage to ending up with a cartridge pistol with no paperwork on it.

The advantage, no paperwork, and using a metallic cartridge. The disadvantage, you have to take the gun apart to reload it, which takes almost as long to reload it with black powder. Just buy another Old Army, then you have 12 shots before you reload.

You can shoot smokeless powder with the conversion cylinder.
Then, you can shoot a "cap and ball" revolver without cleaning it, Praise God!
