need a little help .32h&r mag

cornbreadfishing
just bought a taurus 731 and can't find ammo locally. on line all seems to be personal defense and too spendy for killing paper is there some where i can get 100 rounds cheep

    You might have better luck in obtaining .32 S & W long. It's just a little shorter in overall length, but will work fine and function safely in any revolver chambered for the .32 H & R Mag.

    i have looked at the longs but the only boxes in driving distance are 26 and 28 bucks

    The way things are going nowadays, thats bout par for the course money wise as far as ammo is concerned. Since the nobama ammo panic started, ammo is strictly a sellers market. Either you pay their price, or they tell you to take a hike. If nothing else you can always use the brass for reloading so that $26 for 50, ain't so bad looking at it that way.

    like Rufe said, sellers market right now and 32mag isn't that easy to find. best price on the auction side I saw was $24.99 for federal, and the seller isn't sure if theyre reloads!
    match and hollow points are around $15 for 20! (midway)
    I could sell you a few boxes (50 rounds per) of 32mag but the shipping is gonna raise the price.

    This and the 32 S&W long are very easy and cheap to reload.
    I'd suggest you buy 100 rounds of brass, a cheap Lee reloader set and
    you'll be good for the forseeable future.
    I've seen inexpensive 32 S&W Long Fiocci ammo advertised in the not too distant past.

    if all else fails you can use 32acp , its a semi rimmed shell so it will work in a revolver , kind of like shoooting a 22 short out of a cylinder meant for 22 long rifle , but if all you want is a little plinking ammo they work

    i've shot them out of my Ruger Single Six before they shot to a little different point of aim than the 32 mag but that doesn't really matter , all you have to do is hold off a little
