rem 673 scope base

Where can i find scope bases for a remington model 673? I was told that the model 700 bases are interchangable, but the leupold ones i purchased do not fit.

  One piece or two piece base? I know for a fact that the one piece Leupold model 700 "short action" bases will work with the 600, 660, 673 series rifles. Can't say for sure on the two piece bases though(although I don't see why they wouldn't).
  
  Also, just to throw another question out there. If you purchased a one piece base, you didn't buy a long action by mistake did you?

  I originally bought the model 700 2 peice base. I later returned it along with the low rings to gander where they told me base items would fit. This time i got the model 7 base with the higher profile rings to clear the vent rib. It works great now.Turns out the guys behind the counter at gander didn't know squat. When i asked about the base for a rem model 673 the guy hesitated and said, " remington makes a model 673? I've never heard of it." Wow.
