    Hello C 8161 First off Their are very few Experts as to military 1911 and 1911A1's Clawson and Goddard are two that come to mine . There are a number of people that have a lot of interest in these pistols and I include myself into this group[:I] I collect and buy and sell both pistols and parts . Guess you know that many pistols because of different reasons ended up with MIS-MATCHED parts and say you have a all colt pistol and it has an original 1911 Black finish but has a parkerized 1911A1 grip safety. Many people would want to make this pistol correct and would be in the market for a 1911 vintage grip safety. I ended up with some un-issured 1911 parts and this included 2 Colt Slides 1919 vintage and 2 Springfield Barrels 1917-1920 vintage I sold one slide at the big Louisville show in Feb for $1000.00 and one barrel for $800.00 so There are people that pay BIG BUCKS for original parts in original condition However as % of blue goes down price goes down REFINISH Takes a BIG hit The problem I see with you parts is it would be almost impossible to find someone that would need a slide for his refinished frame and that the two refinish job on both pieces would match . The small parts would be IMHO more desirable then the slide. I don't have time to look up your barrel but most vintage 1911 colt barrels have H or H P on the barrel I have a H marked barrel that is near Mint that is only correct for a pistol below serial # 6500 needless to say the person that gets this jewel is going to help my bank account.
