Consecutive Serial Numbers...

I am trying to find out if it is possible for me to find about 3 or 4 consecutive serial numbered 1911's. I am wanting to get full size in any of the name brands... I have been calling around to various gun dealers and none have been very helpful or even confident I can find find them anywhere. I am trying to keep the price under about $1000 a peice... Para single stack, Kimber Custom or Colt 70 or 80 Series, I am interested in any if I can work something out.
Let me know if anyone has any good ideas to help finding 4 pistols with numbers one apart from each other.

    That will have to be special order, the dealer that works with you will have to contact thier supplier who in turn will need to contact the manufacuterer and order them. It will take some time but is not impossible.

    I know that Kimber has a custom shop. GOOGLE them to get contact information. I'm sure if you got the money in hand, and your ready to buy 4 consecutive serial numbered 1911's, they will be more then happy to accommodate you.

    Caspian will make the serial number anything you like Numbers and or letters with in reason. [:p][^]

    I can't think of this being a problem, even with our current buying rush. I have consectutive numbers for a few items: 2- fn 5-7 pistols, Kel-Tec rifles, & 5 AR-15 receivers - all available at no extra charge if I was willing to wait for a while.

    Colt custom shop should be able to put aside a few 1911's for you. Seems like going to the assembly area, and pulling the guns. Shouldn't be a problem, I'd imagine. Best, Joe

    As the old time dealer once told me, "Son, they ALL come out of the factory with consecutive serial numbers."

    Are you making up a garniture for somebody important?

    Some distributors that sell guns to gunshops will not send consecutive numbers to the same shop. The best I was able to do a couple of years ago were to get two guns with a SN skipped between them.

    Kimber has offered me Excellent customer service, so has Colt.

    I order 5 AR-15 lower receiver that is consecutive number and I went thur the factory. They were more then willing to help me. I had them shipped to the dealer. Call a few factory.

    I don't see this as a problem at all.

    There are enough manufacturers of 1911s and 1911 frames, that it should be pretty easy to find one of them willing to send you a lot with consecutive serial numbers.

    Any gun dealer with six ounces of business sense would be THRILLED to help facilitate your order of 3 or 4 pistols at once!

    Just find a Kimber, Para, and/or Colt dealer in your area and go from there. If you can't find one, Kimber, Para, and/or Colt should be more than happy to help you find one.
