Winchester 92 Questions
A friend has a Winchester 92 in 25-20 and the barrel is very badly rusted on the inside. Does anyone know where you can get a replacement barrel? Would it be better to leave it 25-20 or convert the gun to 218 Bee? Final question, does anyone make a replacement stock?

I've had some incredibly bad looking barrels that actually shot pretty good. Not MOA, but MOA of squirrel at 50 yards. Required more than the usual to keep it clean, but otherwise it looked like the grand canyon and shot much better than it had any right to.
That said, if you decide to rebarrel I'd vote for sticking with the 25-20. Not sure, but I'm betting the Bee would involve some significant action work. If not, then go for it.
Rossi stocks should work with minimal effort if you nothing else is available.

if the outside barrel is ok you can have it relined.redman relines i heard does the best.218 bee should work in your receiver fine because its a 25-20 necked down.its cheaper now to get it relined then to fine a good original.butt stocks from priesion gunstocks are some of the best but a real pain to fit the buttplate. 0
