Texas Ranger Pistols
I have three Texas Ranger pistols. One is a Colt 1911, National Match, one is a Springfield heavily engraved 1911, and the last is a 38 Super Colt. I have the letters from the original owners. I have three Texas Ranger pistols that I wish to sell. One is a heavily engraved Springfield 1911, one a Colt 1911, and a 38 Super Colt. Does anyone know what the collector value is? I have letters of authenticity from the original owner, as far back as 1981. I can e-mail pictures.

I am looking for one of my ancestors guns who was a Texas Ranger. His name was John Shropshire and he carried a brace of Ivory handled '51 Colt Navies converted to shoot cartridges. Has anyone heard of these Colts?
