ammo shipping laws

hello, can anyone tell me when you ship ammo, do you have to do the hasmat crap and fees? i know you do for reloading components, like primers and powder, but i was told that loaded ammo is ok? which dosnt make any since. but how many gun laws do! any help? thanks

  Up to 66 lbs of standard ammo can be shipped by UPS Ground without getting into the HAZMAT arena. Ship from a hub or request pickup, no UPS stores, DO NOT MAIL IN US MAIL. Mark package ORM-D Cartridges, small arms. List contents as Cartridges, small arms.

  Go about 3/4 down the page. Claim it as ammo, label it, and ship it (via FedEx or UPS) like you would anything else.
