200 gr. Hornady in 348 Win
Has anyone seen or worked up any loading data for any of the Reloader series powders for a 200 gr. bullet in the 348 Winchester?? Thanks Steve

Try this load from the Pacific Cartridge reloading manual printed in 1970
start 65.0gr H4831 2340fps
max 68.0gr H4831 2510fps

I just went through my extensive notes on the .348 WCF cartridge and the only Reloader series of powders I have used is Re19. 63, 64, and 65 grains were used with the 200 Hornady FP. The most accurate 100 yd load was the highest one. 65 grains gave an average velocity at 15ft of 2365 and the 5 shot group was 2 1/4". The temperature that day was 74 degrees F, and the sights on my gun are factory hooded front and Lyman #56 receiver sight on the rear. I'm sure that a better shot could produce better results, but that load is MOE, or minute of elk.[:D] 0
