so how many do you actually Fondle during your stay :} or do you keep pretty busy with the paper records ? are they transferring any of the existing paper records on to computer discs or how exactly are they planning for the future preservation of the paper records- documentation ?

Bert takes extraordinary precautions before descending into the ancient archives of the BBHC, his research techniques can be quite strenuous and last year our good friend emerged after 30 days a 'older' man. This year his wife outfitted him with a new suit that'll hopefully provide protection from the aged environment he locks away in...it'll even match the deep briney blue he also sometimes descends to....[}:)][;)]

Hello Jim,
I very seldom "handle" any of the guns (though I have the opportunity to go down into the vaults and do so). I spend the vast majority of my time digging through the paper records (actually the computer records these days). Most of the original "paper" records have been digitized, and are now available on computer (for the research department).0 -

No. There is Polishing Room Serialization Record Book data for a number of Models, but the CFM is not yet preapared to be able to offer that information.0 -
