How can I tell the difference between Mark VII and Mark XIX pistols (American made vs Israli made) by pictures posted on sale pages when not listed in description?

    The later MK XIX pistols have a wider dove tail across the top of the barrel and also has the usual slots for weaver type bases. The slide is also larger on the MK XIX series, but it is tough to tell the difference between the two variations unless you are looking at an early and late pistol side by side.
