MARLIN 30/30 NICKLE??

Did Marlin ever make a 30/30 in nickle or chrome? I found one and wonder if it's original. The owner says it's a 60's model. Other than that, I have no information (including model number), as I have only seen pictures.

Any information is appreciated.

  They made some nickel plated 39A .22s in 1960 for their 90th anniversary, but I have not seen a factory plated .30-30 Marlin.
  
  Maybe somebody here has the book and can look for special items like that.
