Parker Shotguns

I was asked yesterday about a couple of parker s/s shotguns hammerless.One has Parker and son and the other one has just Parker on it.Does any one know if these would be Parker Brothers.I was always under it was Parker Brothers fully engraved on them.

  Are Parker the best of early shotguns made in America and if so why?

  The answer to that question is largely one of personal opinion.
  I have one, great piece of workmanship. I also have a Winchester
  21, Remington and an Ansly Fox. They are ALL fine guns.

  I think that quality wise, Colts double barrels were every bit as good as Parkers.

  I could not agree more! The Colt Model 1883 is a very classy and well made SxS gun, and it just happens to be my personal favorite[^]
