Does anyone have a link or an address to Dr. Wm.Atwood, curator of military firearms? I tried Googling and got run all over the place with no help to this man. any help out there?????thanks. Jeff

It would be best if you were able to identify the museum or other organization he is associated with. Or his specialty in military firearms, i.e. Civil War, Revolutionary War, WW II etc. 0 -

I'm pretty sure Atwood is with the US Army Ordnance Museum at Aberdeen, Maryland. 0 -

I was a machinist (internals and externals) on the manufacture of weapons-making machinery and tooling for U.S. and foreign ordnance plants, and we also made complete 175mm guns for the Army, when they were in the test phase. From what I've heard Atwood say, I'm real glad he wasn't on our engineering staff.
