What magazine does the Century Arms L1A1 use. Inch or Metric?

    Mine, built on a Century Arms receiver, is metric and takes metric mags. Chances are excellent that yours is the same. Metric mags usually work in both types, but inch mags are for inch actions only. Metric mags are less expensive to buy as well.

    Virtually every Century L1A1 I've seen consisted of an L1A1 parts kit jammed onto a metric receiver and accepted metric pattern magazines.
    Just to assist you in identifying the two types of magazines; the mag on the left is inch pattern while the one on the right is metric:

    All depends. Of course, inch receivers can use metric mags - they may wobble, but they will work.

    Mine is marked R1A1 (not L1A1) and is all metric.

    R1A1 Sporter, US made inch receiver, Austrailian parts kit.
