What difference does a letter make?
What is the difference between AA2230C and AA2230? Besides the C. Is 2230C faster or slower than 2230? I have load data for 2230 but not 2230C. Help appreciated.

Information:
We do not have specific published load information for the 2230 C powder. It's a military surplus "Spherical" or "Spherical" powder, which is basically a derivative of the standard AA 2230 and 2460 powders. 2230 C is slightly slower burning than the standard AA 2230 product, which makes it more equivalent to AA2460. You can use any published load information, on any caliber configuration, for the standard AA2460 product AS IS. Since the powder can be used in a wide variety of caliber/configurations (too many to list here).

I had forgotten to add a couple of points about 'Data' powders:
- Reloading information is a little more difficult to find, as you have experienced here. But suggested loads and relative relationship to other powders as in the example above are available. It just takes a little more work to find the information.
- 'Data' powders can be a real bargain especially in the world of reloading today. Just be sure that they will work for the cartridge/bullet combinations that you reload. Eight-pound containers can be significantly cheaper than standard powders in the same size containers.
