A.E. Nelson S&W 4" K-Frame Holster Conditioning

I have recently purchased two Vintage A.E. Nelson Light Brown Leather Basket Weave S&W K-Frame Front Break Open Holsters. One is a 4" and the other is a 21/2" size. These holsters are in very good shape with no structure damage and hold my revolvers in place very tightly. My question would be what can I use or do to condition these without harming the leather or the workmanship of these holsters as they have been put away for some time by the person I bought them from and are a little dry and stiff??? It is also hard to insert and remove the revolvers from them and I believe it is due to the leather being in the condition it is in if I am correct!!!

    You might try baseball glove leather conditioner. It softens and conditions leather without drying it out. I have not used it on my holsters, but it worked great on my ball glove.
