remington 1100 stocks

i just bought a 20 ga. 1100 for my daughter and i am wanting to change out the synthetic stock to a wood stock so that i can have it cut to fit her and was wondering if the wood stocks are ga. specific? what about fore ends

    Depends if you have a standard weight or a light weight.

    12 ga will fit. Try the parts listings on the auction.

    Why not cut the synthetic stock down? Just have to make a "wood" insert for it and can even add a recoil pad if you want.

    The 12ga buttstock fits but the forearm won't. The barrel channel is too wide and the forearm will rock side to side. Finding a 20ga wood forearm to fit a Standard frame will be next to impossible.
    You can glue wood shims on both sides of the wood 12ga forearm, but it's going to look about as pretty as a fence post.
    Option two is pick up a synthetic "Youth" buttstock for a 12ga to match the syn forearm.
