Colt 6721-box sealed or unsealed

I am curious...I have a Colt 6721 still sealed in its Colt Box...considering something is only worth what someone is willing to pay...do you think it is really worth more if retained in the sealed box? What would be the difference in value between a NIB rifle and New in sealed Box, unhandled rifle? And no its not one of the 134 HB made special ones that I have seen advertised for an outrageous amount of money...I've had it about 6 months.


For all I know its a couple 2X4s that colt taped inside the box[:D]

    Depends on the buyer. For me I would want to see the rifle and make sure it is not a pile of rust from someone improperly storing it some where along the way.

    While unlikely it is possible, or someone could have pulled a good switch somewhere along the way. There are lots of things that have been effectively faked over the years.

    Personally I would have to see the gun. It would however be exciting to have the box unopened while making the transaction (in person of course, over the net-never). Price difference? What ever the market will bear, as always...
