Whats the problem with Over and Unders

made by Remington? Ive got a SPR310 over & under shotgun that I can't seem to give away as I'm in the market to sell. With the exception of one, not a single 310 on GB has a bid it which makes me think there's something wrong.

Is there a problem with this gun that I don't know about that no one wants these weapons?

    Junk. All that I sold had to sent back to Remington and now Remington will not fix them.

    They are just inexpensive, utilitarian type shotguns. Not much to look at, but still a usefull O/U shotgun. IMHO.

    "With the exception of one, not a single 310 on GB has a bid it which makes me think there's something wrong".........price reflects quality. if there are no bids the price is too high, start it at $.01 and you will get exactly what it's worth. My dad always said there ain't nothing in this world worth a nickle more than you can sell it for.

    If nobody is bidding, its because the asking price is too high.

    I guarantee you that if you were to list the gun starting at 1 cent, you would get bids (at the very least from me!).

    You might be surprised how high the auction goes if/when you try this.

    If I am not mistaken Remington had so many problems with them they have now discontinued inporting them,,,,,I just googled it and there are several articles about the SPR being no more

    My newest Remington is over 20 years old, and I am glad not to own anything they currently make. Remington ain't what it used to be.

    At least Daisy, when they made a .22 rifle that was such a POS that they were ashamed of it, offered to buy them back from disgruntled consumers. Try asking for a refund from Reminton on your 522 Viper. Try getting parts or service for any out-of-production Remington. Ain't happening.

    Dear Rouge,
    O/U and SxS shotguns by design are more complicated than other models of shotguns and more likely to be a POS when the maker cuts corners. I have learned that if one ventures into the realm of two barreled shotguns, quality counts. Anything else is a crap shoot. I have witnessed a cheap Turkish made O/U with such poor barrel regulation that it wouldn't put 10% of the shot load in a 1' X 1' target at 30'. It shot about 2' high of the POA at 30' And, the combo barrel selector/safety didn't function. Who wants that?

    Put it on auto list (where it will re-list automatically?), Run for a week. Drop $5 asking price each time you re-list. No reserve!. It will sell. Best, Joe

    Just to clarify, these shotguns are NOT made by Remington. They are made by some company oversees and imported and sold by Remington. They are not very well made IMO. I won a 20 gauge in a raffle a few years back and was excited as heck. Ended up trading it for a pump 12 gauge because the dang thing was so poorly made.[V]
