30/30 Winchester
I have a 30/30 Winchester lever action, serial #3187548. It has some engraving on the receiver and is in very nice condition, at least 75-80%. It also has a ring on the side of the receiver. Does anyone know the approximate year it was made, and the value? Thanks for your help.

With that serial number it has to be a model 94, and made during the U.S. Repeating Arms years. The condition is not great for so recent a rifle, but without seeing good photos, my wag is gone, I will certainly defer to BertH on value. 0 -
Assuming a Mod 94 in 30-30 it's year is 1969. Need some photos to give any idea on value. 0 -
This is a Model 94 and I would say the condition is minimum of 75%. I am not able to include photo. Wish I could, but am too old to figure it out (or cut the mustard). Thanks for your help. 0 -
What you have is a Model 94 "Antique Carbine". They were made from 1964 - 1983, and yours is most likely a 1968 vintage gun.
The value in 75% condition is in the $150 - $200 range. Model 94s made from 1964 - 1978 are the least desired (and valued) of all that were made, and they are not considered to be collectable by the vast number of Winchester collectors.0
