Winchestr Model 52 C (1955)

If You found a Winchester 52C in 95% condition, but it was drilled for scope mounts, How much of a value deduction would You say it has?I would like some opinions, thank You . ( Otherwise the rifle original)

    If its a sporter they came with a D&T receiver. A standard target rifle would lose about 10 to 20% in value and some market interest perhaps making a tough sell. IMHO

    Its 52C form 1955. Not a sporter. A heavy target rifle. Any ideas on reasonable price to ask for it? Is worth it to fill those holes?

    almost all heavy target models you will see has holes on the barrel for target type scopes . is this what you are talking about [?] or did someone drill and tap the receiver[?]

    EDIT Holes in receiver[:(] but not end of the world you have one of the American made classic target rifles ever built. Shoot it and enjoy.

    "Its has some weird trigger ( short travel?????)"........no, Karl Kenyon reworked the win. 52c & d triggers (micro-motion) to make them work even better. Last I heard he is still doing this (in his uper 80's)
